| Bus Driver: Lanier and Tift Counties (Six (6) hour position) Candidate must have a CDL (Commercial Drivers License with the Passenger (P) and School (S) Skills endorsements), plus a good Motor Vehicle Report and Some custodial experience. Starting salary is $8.00 per hour. This position is funded by Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). |
| Teacher Assistant (Turner Counties) Qualifications: Candidate should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with at least six (6) months experience in a childcare setting. Starting Salary is $7.54 per hour. This position is funded by Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). |
| CDL Bus Driver/Custodian, Eight (8) Hour Position (Lowndes County) Qualifications: Candidate should have a Commercial Driver License (CDL), with Passenger (P), and School (S) Endorsements. Patterson St., Valdosta GA) Qualifications: Candidate should have a Computer Information Systems Diploma from a Technical School and two years of extensive training and experience in system maintence, hardware, software, and networking. Have knowledge of technology design, hardware, software, word processing, e-mail, internet and exellent typing skills. Starting salary is $11.50 per hour. |
| Education Specialist for the Northern Counties (housed at 524 Martin Luther King Drive, Ashburn, GA) Qualifications: Canidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Degree in Child Development or Elementary Education with Pre-School Certification. Two years experience in working with young children in a group getting, and must be computer literate. This is a twelve month position. Starting salary is $12.25 per hour |
| Family Services/Transition Specialist (housed at 2110 N. Patterson St., Valdosta GA) Qualifications: Candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Psychology, or Eary Childhood Education or equivalent training and/or experience. This position will help with coordinating and implementing training workshops, and assist in support services for families and transition. Maintain the ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance) requirements. Starting salary is $9.60 per hour) |
